The Committee on Government Organization moves to amend the
title of the bill to read as follows:
"
A BILL to amend and reenact §30-3-14 of the Code of West
Virginia, 1931, as amended; to amend and reenact §30-4-21 of said
code; and to amend and reenact §30-14-12a of said code, all
relating to authorizing boards to initiate disciplinary proceedings
in certain circumstances; authorizing the Board of Medicine, Board
of Dental Examiners and the Board of Osteopathy to initiate
disciplinary proceedings upon receipt of information from an agent
of the Board of Pharmacy related to data from the Controlled
Substances Monitoring Program; permitting the Board of Medicine to
approve decisions from hearings it authorizes rather than hearing
the matter itself; and increasing the number of days within which
the Board of Medicine may make certain decisions.
